Losing Luis Suarez for eight games and seeing that Andy Carroll is not yet productive, now Liverpool is eyeing a new attacker.

One of them according to the Daily Mail, is Jackson Martinez who plays in Mexican club, Jagueares. Since brought in 2010, he had scored 25 goals in 43 games. The Reds are not the only club interested in the 25-year-old player.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Porto are also interested in bringing Martinez. Jaguares had opened negotiations for clubs who want to get Martinez with a transfer of £ 5.5 million.

However, with interest from several clubs, Jaguares reportedly raised their bid to £ 8.5 million. That price should not be a problem for Liverpool who previously prepared a bid of £ 24 million for Darren Bent.
