The thigh injury he got while playing against Sable-sur-Sarthe in the France Cup  forced the Paris Saint-Germain star, Javier Pastore, to rest for three weeks.

The injury was confirmed by coach Carlo Ancelotti who told reporters after the match. After waiting for examination results, Pastore is scheduled to be back in mid-February.

PSG at least managed to go through to the French Cup round of 16 after beating Sable 4-0. Two goals among others was scored by Kevin Gameiro.
