AC Milan advanced to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia after defeating Lazio 3-1 last night. One of the Rossoneri players who performed brilliantly on Friday night was the club new player, Djamel Mesbah.

Mesbah, who was given the opportunity to make his debut appearance, immediately showed his skills, and no doubt the player also was praised by his coach, Max Allegri.

“Mesbah played very well and performed consistently throughout the game,” said the allenatore, according to Tribalfootball.

Then Allegri also noted a number of other names who played in the match for Milan.

“El Shaarawy continues to increase each game, while [Alex] Merkel also played amazinglt, but unfortunately Merkel suffered an injury and it will be evaluated for the next few days,” added Allegri.
