After successive seventh-placed finishes, the Bianconeri are currently flying high at the top of Serie A under new coach Antonio Conte, who arrived in Turin last summer.

Juve have taken a while to recover from ‘Calciopoli’, the match-fixing scandal which resulted in them being relegated to Serie B, but the World Cup winner feels that they are now poised to re-establish themselves as the most powerful force in Italy.

“Juventus will open a cycle because this team is only going to get better from here on,” he told Tuttosport.

“The new stadium has added a sense of pride, while Conte has given organisation and sense of belonging back to the club.”

Lippi coached Juve during two separate spells in 1994-99 and 2001-04, during which he led the club to five Serie A titles.

The 37-year-old’s contract with the Bianconeri runs out at the end of the 2011-12 campaign and the Turin outfit revealed earlier this season that they would not offer Del Piero a new deal.

Del Piero has since been linked with several clubs, with Paris Saint-Germain, Los Angeles Galaxy and New York Red Bulls appearing to be the three most concrete options at the moment.

PSG are keen to add a high profile name to their squad and have reportedly earmarked Del Piero as the perfect signing after the transfer of David Beckham fell through in the winter.

The two MLS sides already have some European stars under contract, with the likes of Beckham (LA) and Thierry Henry (New York) as the stand-out players, and both clubs are keen to add Del Piero to their ranks as well. (Goal)

The 29-year-old midfielder joined Juve from Napoli on a Bosman move at the start of the 2011-12 campaign, but Pazienza had mainly been warming the bench so far.

After the signing of Simone Padoin from Atalanta earlier on Tuesday, head coach Antonio Conte told Pazienza that he was no longer needed in Turin, and the midfielder has not wasted any time to find a new club.

Furthermore, the Turin giants have farmed experienced attacker Vincenco Iaquinta out on loan to Cesena until the end of the season.

The former Udinese striker had been struggling to secure regular first team action at Juventus Stadium this term due to the stiff competition for places and a string of injuries.

Therefore, Iaquinta has opted to move on in order to get his career back on track elsewhere. (Goal)

Maybe not the players or coach, but this was obviously expressed by some fans of Juve.

This was clearly seen during Juventus’ match against Lecce in the Serie A where they won the match with a score of 1-0, at the Stadion Via del Mare yesterday. From the stands where the Juventus supporters were placed, a banner was seen containing protests of Boriello’s arrival on loan from AS Roma.

As known before, the 29-year-old player officially joined Juventus earlier this month after failing to gain a place in the first team of Luis Enrique’s squad in the capital city.

In fact, the banner reads, “Borriello, a payed player without honor.”

The protest was also shows that the fans actually want bigger name signings. Another banner reads: “Borriello, high fashion, Fernando Torres (Chelsea), a good deal …. Thank you (Juventus director Giuseppe) Marotta.”

Borriello had long been the target of Juventus. In 2010, they almost got him, but the striker instead joined the Giallorossi. Juve are reportedly reluctant to make his status permanent at the end of this season.

The striker cost €0.5m to take on loan from Roma and Juve have an option to make the move permanent for €8m in June.

“I am truly honoured to be here,” he told Juventus Channel. “It’s definitely a great recognition from one of the most prominent teams in the world and therefore it’s very exciting to be here.”

Borriello was asked about Antonio Conte’s current joint Serie A leaders, who are the only unbeaten side in Europe’s top Leagues.

“They’re certainly a balanced team, solid, battling, with hunger and they always play with added rhythm.

“They’ve greatly surprised me, and I hope that this team will enable me to express my qualities in the best possible way.

“I’ll immediately look to immerse myself in the group’s mentality and do the best I possibly can. I don’t want to state my objectives, but I certainly want to reach the maximum.

“We’ve spoken on the phone (with Conte), but we haven’t discussed my tactical role. He’s very focused on the game against Lecce. When we meet here on January 9, we’ll speak about it then.

“I’ve played with almost all the players in the squad at club or international level. With Mirko Vucinic at Roma, Andrea Pirlo at Milan. I often exchange text messages with Giorgio Chiellini, Simone Pepe and Pirlo.”

Borriello had the chance to join Juve in the summer of 2010, but he opted for Roma as they were willing to offer a permanent deal to Milan.

“I’d like to tell the fans that I never turned Juventus down, because Juventus is a club that you can’t say no to. I can only say that at that particular time a permanent transfer was the preferred option and therefore an agreement couldn’t be reached with Milan, so I never turned Juventus down.

“I don’t want to say anything more to the fans, because actions speak louder than words. I prefer to show what I can do on the pitch and honour this shirt in the best possible way.”

Conte believes that Borriello hd the potential to make Juventus more different and he also compared him with the arrival of Andrea Pirlo in the transfer market last summer.

“What do we see in Borriello which is not seen by Milan? Probably the same thing when we see Pirlo,” said Conte.

“Behind every choice there is always a lot of reasons and evaluation. The choice to bring Borriello is the result of discussion between me and the club and I do not understand who has a problem with it. ”

“Juve are a great team and no one should be afraid to compete.”

To clarify the situation, Conte spoke about the current status of the two stars.

“The presence of Del Piero as a player and figure outside the field is very important for Juventus. Just as important as [Gianluigi] Buffon,” Conte opened.

“Del Piero loves the club and the club loves him.”

“Milos? He’s a little shy and likes to run for open spaces. Unfortunately, this style does not fit with the team strategy,” he explained.

According to him, now all teams are afraid to meet Juventus.

“We ended 2011 on the top of the standings,” said Bonucci.

“The future is in our hands. Now, everyone is afraid to meet Juventus,” he continued.

Juventus now leads the standings with AC Milan. According Bonucci, Juventus should be able to maintain their performance throughout 2012.

“We will start 2012 against Lecce, and we sure will not lose performance,” he said.

However, still according to Bonucci, Juventus must not forget Udinese, Napoli, and Lazio, which now sits below them. Bonucci believes all three could potentially make a surprise, to challenge Juventus until the end of the season.

“We should really focus during the next five months. We know that it will be the hardest moment,” said Bonucci.

Bonucci does not want to complain about the tight schedule of training. The entire Juventus squad flew to Dubai for five hours, and immediately held a prime exercise.
